Biography

So Jin PARK is a graphic and UX designer with a focus on equality, people, editorial design, and books. In relation to books, writing and sharing, Park publishes monthly trend reports about the German publishing world for Korean publishers and is preparing to launch a podcast about books. She is hoping to release her first utility NFT soon—a knitted fruit with an NFT.

PARK aspires to be connected with people and give them more rights, information, and joy through her practice.

Describe one work or project that is significant to your practice and provide details about the technology you used for it.

My critical mind is the most important work/being I have created. My mind is my sacred technology.

What typically encourages or motivates you to acquire a new (technological) skill?

It has a lot to do with the future, my enthusiasm for a particular new skill, and my survival as a human being in this technocratic global society.

Based on your experience, what makes a great tutorial?

Passionate presenter, fun, extremely short intro part, fresh visuals.

In your opinion, what makes someone an expert?

Deep knowledge + a personal perspective on a field, which doesn't interfere with other people's rights + practice + perseverance. But something else might also be important as well.
